Thank you for all the GOODNESS!

YOU belong in the Winner’s Circle for helping to make Frazer Center’s GOODNESS IN THE GARDENS: DERBY DAY a success!  Guests, volunteers, sponsors, and staff all came together to support the mission of the Frazer Center. The weather was beautiful, the food from Sun In My Belly was amazing, and the mint juleps were flowing in abundance. All auction items were sold, Black Gold (1924) was the winning Golden Ticket, and the Pledge-to-Protect paddle-raise was a lively competition.

For some, Goodness in the Gardens has become quite the family affair. Sara and Steven Culpepper, for example, have a 4-yr-old son who has been coming to Frazer since he was 8 months old. They had searched among seven other early childhood programs before landing on Frazer. “We instantly felt good about it,” says Sara. As they were driving up the hill for their first visit, Steven’s memory was jogged as he realized this is where his mother and stepfather had gotten married years before. Barbara and Bill Conn love having their grandson at Frazer and love being able to provide support by attending Goodness in the Gardens—and bidding vigorously! Steven’s production company, Paramount Event Group, handles huge corporate events for such clients as The Coca-Cola Company. Frazer is fortunate to call Paramount an event sponsor, and lucky indeed to have the Culpepper clan as part of the Frazer community.

All told, our community came together to raise more than $50,000 including over $11,000 for enhanced campus security. We can’t do what we do without support, so thank you for sharing your time, energy, and resources, and thanks especially for caring about inclusion.

Here are just a few photos from the evening:
