These talented and caring administrators support our teachers so Frazer’s children, with and without disabilities, can flourish.
DEIDRA ADAMS, Pre-K Director, Curriculum Coordinator (Older Toddler–Pre-K)

Deidra Adams has spent more than 25 years in the field of early care and learning. She received her Master’s of Education in Instructional Leadership from Argosy University. She enjoys mentoring and coaching teachers as well as being in a classroom providing adaptive play and learning with music.
Deidra is a singer/songwriter and has performed with several different groups in the Atlanta area over the years. She enjoys supporting the arts by going to musical concerts, theater performances, and movies. She also loves being outdoors and traveling.
Deidra joined the Frazer team in 2023. “It is a lovely work environment. I appreciate Frazer’s welcoming atmosphere and physical location nestled in the forest.” she says. “The CDP administrative team has been wonderful, working together to help cultivate a positive, supportive, and inclusive environment.”
Her motto is: Live life like there's no ending; love more than seems possible; be kind when it feels impossible; and believe when no one else does.
DENISE AMOS, Admissions and Early Intervention Coordinator

Denise has been with the Frazer Center for almost two years. Originally from California, she has worked in education for ten years, following the example of her mother who was an educator. “I spent my adolescence in and out of her classrooms,” says Denise, “where I developed a passion for learning.”
Denise began her career as an outdoor educator, leading backpacking trips and ropes course workshops for children and teens in the mountains of Northern California. She transitioned into early childhood education, working as a teacher at an inclusive forest preschool as well as a traditional Head Start program. After she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, she began working as a registered behavioral technician with children on the autism spectrum.
Denise moved to Atlanta in 2021 and landed at Frazer Center as the Admissions and Early Intervention Coordinator. In her free time, she likes to make pottery, garden, explore nature, and spend time with her dog and two cats.
MARGO HARMON, Inclusion Coach

Margo Harmon hails from Oregon and is the daughter of two longtime educators. She grew up spending a lot of time traveling, playing sports, and enjoying the outdoors, including her grandparents’ 150-year-old farm that grows peaches, apples, and hazelnuts.
Margo earned her Bachelor's degree in Family and Human Services and a Master's degree in Early Intervention/Early Childhood Special Education, both from the University of Oregon. While in Eugene, Margo worked with families experiencing homelessness, victims of domestic violence, parents in drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers, and early childhood special education classrooms.
Following graduate school, Margo taught preschool before deciding to explore the elementary special education world. She was a Learning Specialist for four years at a school that “taught me so much about teaching, true inclusion, social emotional learning, leadership, friendship, life, and so much more,” she says.
When she and her now-husband decided to move across the country, she taught elementary special education for one more year here in Georgia before deciding to step away from the classroom to pursue her true passion of coaching others about meaningful inclusion.
Margo is a fierce advocate for individuals with disabilities. “Frazer Center's Childhood Development Program has an amazing group of early childhood educators who truly care about their students, inclusion, and preparing children and families for their next steps in life,” she says. “I feel so lucky to have found such an incredible organization.”
When not at work, Margo and her husband—an Army veteran turned consultant—love to spend time with friends, go to sporting events and concerts, and travel, especially to visit family back home in Oregon.
ASHLEY LEDESMA, Director, Child Development Program

Ashley Ledesma is Frazer’s new CDP Director. She has been an educator and leader for over 11 years. She has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology, and a dual Master’s degree in Special Education and General Education with an emphasis on children ages birth through 2nd grade.
Originally from New York, Ashley moved to Georgia in 2020, in the midst of the pandemic, to be closer to her immediate family, including her two younger siblings—a 10-year-old sister, and a 12-year-old brother.
Ashley’s journey working with children began with babysitting then tutoring students from preschool through 6th grade. During this time she developed a passion for nurturing children’s love for learning and supporting their developmental milestones.
Ashley became a preschool special education teacher at Cerebral Palsy of Westchester where she developed Individualized Educational Plans (IEP) with goals and objectives for each of her students. She became a staunch advocate for students with disabilities and their families as they fight for resources for their children. She spent an additional two years teaching in an inclusion classroom until she became inspired to shift into leadership and advocacy in order to create more positive change in the lives of children, families, and teachers.
Ashley’s motto is School plus home is success. “I am so excited to be at the Frazer Center,” she says, “and I’m looking forward to building connections with our staff, students, families, and community members.”
In her spare time, she loves to sing, travel, garden, spend time with family and friends, have fun and cook. She has a 5-year-old Goldendoodle named Princess Leia. “She is my baby, and I love taking her out on walks and playing fetch.”
Ashley says her office door is always open to anyone who wants to stop by to say hello. “This will be a new place I call home. I look forward to an amazing journey here at the Frazer Center.”
MAKASHIA LIGHTFOOT, Curriculum Coordinator (Infant–Young Toddler)

Makashia Lightfoot recently joined the Frazer team as our new Curriculum Coordinator for Infants and Young Toddlers. In her 20 years as an educator, Makashia has worn many hats—from substitute teacher to lead mentor teacher. Most recently she was Program Manager for an after-school program in Roswell, Georgia.
She started her career in the healthcare field but soon decided that what she really wanted to do was educate young children. So she earned her Early Childhood Care and Education diploma from Atlanta Technical College in 2004. She went on to receive her Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education from Ashworth College, then her Bachelor's in Early Childhood Administration from Purdue Global University. Makashia is now very close to completing her Master’s in Human Services with a focus on Family and Children Administration.
Makashia’s philosophy is: Through guidance, love, and experience, each child can learn with the support of their parents and teachers.
She is the mother of two—“a 21-year-old daughter and 16-year-old son that I love with all my being,” and one furbaby—a 7-year-old Yorkie.
