We are thrilled to welcome to the Frazer team our new Director of Finance, Debbie Linton. She comes to us from the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation where she served as Director of Finance and Administration. Prior to that, she served as Director of Finance and Human Resources at the St. Vincent de Paul Society of Georgia, a nonprofit that helps low-income families meet their basic needs, and funds their services in part through a social enterprise of twelve thrift stores spread across the state. Debbie's career also includes three years as Director of Accounting for The Davis Academy, a private Jewish Day School, and 14 years at other private and nonprofit organizations in Georgia, New York, and New Jersey. She holds a B.S. in Accounting from Lincoln University in Pennsylvania.
“Debbie is a person with a positive, warm personality, integrity, and a collaborative work ethic, who is transparent in her communication, but delivers it with a soft touch. And she feels a strong calling to our mission.” —Paige McKay Kubik, Frazer CEO
Debbie enjoys working in the nonprofit sector because “it feels like I’m making a difference.” Originally from New Jersey by way of the Bronx, she is mom to three teenagers, all of whom have rigorous soccer schedules. Fortunately, Debbie enjoys traveling, as she often finds herself on the road with one soccer team or another.
Like many people, she had no ideathe Frazer Center was tucked away on its wooded campus, and she’s looking forward to seeing what the spring holds in bloom here in the forest and gardens.
