• LEAD TEACHER (Infant / Toddler)— $17.75 – $20.00 (hourly rate)
• ASSISTANT TEACHER I (Infant / Toddler) — $16 – $18.25 (hourly rate)
 
Teacher Qualifications:
• Knowledge of “best practices” as it pertains to Bright from the Start 
• Responsible for the daily safety and supervision of children
• Adhere to all policies and procedures as described in the Teacher Handbook
• Maintains all training requirements, including CPR/First Aid, as dictated by DECAL
• Lead Teacher Education: Bachelor's or Associate Degree in related field, preferred
• Lead Teacher: Minimum of 3 years experience as a lead teacher in childcare facility
• Lead Teacher: Minimum of Child Development Associate (CDA)
• Asst Teacher I Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent 
• Asst Teacher I: Minimum of one year of experience working in a structured educational setting with children from birth to five years old
• Asst Teacher I: FREE CDA training program available
